It has (in my opinion) a definite Fringe feel to the sets inside, and a very Blade Runner-ish feel outside. Hard not to like that! I could probably buy the first two on iTunes, but I'll more likely wait for a rerun at some point in time.

I don't know what I would do without my fellow internet genre-friends! There are non in my surroundings, unless you count my son who likes Doctor Who almost as much as I do, and my daughter - a bit less into tv but she is getting into the classics by H. G. Wells, John Wyndham and the like. I'm hoping to continue that exploration with authors like Heinlein and Andre Norton.

Not all is lost, I suppose. Oh and the son is doing a cegep paper on one of Viktor Hugo's novels... cool.Ingrid KV Hardyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01357668181484669053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7795354962718403859.post-13155468942159195122013-12-02T19:59:53.444-05:002013-12-02T19:59:53.444-05:00Hi Ingrid,

And don't you dare say no one watches these genre show with you. We're just not in the same room! We're with you Ingrid!

I hope you can catch up with the first two Ingrid. Have you tried VOD or Itunes or Hulu?

Oh and the depression reference I got from the interview and coupled it with Dorian's reaction to being surgically repaired with gum. Plus the litle blow up by Lom that he had to witness. Poor Dorian, he has had a lot on his plate lately.Interdimensional Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02859157830795670649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7795354962718403859.post-9877058508097558912013-11-28T09:07:00.252-05:002013-11-28T09:07:00.252-05:00This episode was my first of this show, and obviou...This episode was my first of this show, and obviously I'll need to find the first two somewhere to really understand the characters, particularly... Dorian? The android...? Kennex is the name of the human partner, right? (forgive me, I really am new to this show). Funny, as an aside, the name Kennex brings to mind the children's toy related to Lego - K'nex - kind of sciencey in a way, as it encourages kids to build things that can move and stuff.

I did not miss that line from Star Wars... lol! And I'm pretty sure (or maybe there have already been) quotes from Star Trek will be forthcoming.

I also speedily got the Die Hard déjà vû thing, but hey. It's all been done before anyway. I didn't get the reference to depression, though perhaps it was at the very end of the episode? I had to stop again maybe two minutes before the end (no one watches these genre shows with me)

These new shows are a mite gruesome at times for my weak sensibilities - re: the body being tossed out of the window (and Revolution can be mighty rough), but the characters seem to be very interesting. I'm looking forward to the next episode.Ingrid KV Hardyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01357668181484669053noreply@blogger.com
