Falcon and the Winter Soldier: The "Blonde" Cameo.

So, much ado has been made about the identity of the mysterious "Blonde" in the fifth entry of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier".  Someone that will purportedly, "Knock our socks off" or "Leave our jaws on the floor".

Show-runner of FATWS, Malcolm Spellman, has hinted it is someone he's always wanted to see work with Thor.  Originally thought to be played by a male actor, the collective wisdom now points to a female.   As you can see from the picture above my best guess as to the identity of the "Cameo Blonde" is the Jane Foster Thor.

Spellman could be playing it cute with the identity of the cameo.  It was been hinted that the actress seen leaving the FATWS set at a remote mansion in Georgia, USA was a blonde but that spoiler hint may have been playing it cute also.

Natalie Portman is in line to play Thor in the upcoming "Thor: Love and Thunder".  Wherein, Thor has been deemed unworthy of the mantle and it is eventually revealed that Jane Foster, Thor's off time paramour, has been selected to wield "Mjolnir".

We've seen the actress Natalie Portman as a blonde in career before.  But not always.  It could the sharp eyed set assistant that spotted a blonde onset and subsequently leaked the spoiler may have seen her in "Lady Thor" wig.  Of course, it is entirely possible Portman could have shown up with her hair dyed blonde.   I'd say Natalie Portman seen on set would certainly qualify as a jaw dropper.  Especially, as Thor.

But what possible connection would Thor have to Falcon and the Winter Soldier?

With that movie entering production and eventually following this spate of Marvel themed TV shows (including a tie in to Loki!) it only seems logical.  A stretch yes, but still possible.

How about this to close the gap?

The mansion near Atlanta, Georgia where the cameo was filmed is supposedly doubling as a museum.  My guess, and that of others, is "Old Man" Steve Rogers is working there faithfully tending to the memories of his bygone era and that of his friends and the Avengers.

That in itself would be a stunner.  But, we don't necessarily have to see Steve up close.  Just, him working dutifully in the background.

It would be the job of the new Thor to protect the under powered Steve in his golden years and as she detects a threat to Steve, she arrives with lightening quickness.

My floor would on the floor with that.  Can you imagine that entrance?
(Cue the thunder.)

Booooom!

Who wouldn't love that?

Other guesses as to the "Blonde Cameo"?

Well, Cate Blanchett would be a stunner.  She has a relationship to the Marvel Universe as "Hela - Goddess of Death".  That would satisfy her working with Thor, albeit, the new one, not the original.

Not a blonde in her movie.  But, quite possibly a blonde onset.  Your guess is as good as as to why Hela would make a return.

Time travel?  Sure, why not.  It's been done!

Tilda Swinton is a blonde.

She may have also been seen onset as a blonde but not in character.

Her character, the "Ancient One", isn't exactly known for her flowing locks.  Swinton's appearance onset would be a stunner, but not necessarily as her Marvel character.  Why would the Ancient One be there?  As another lead up to an impending Marvel movie property?  In this case, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness".  I don't exactly see it.   But, this is Marvel and they would have their own reasons.

Other Candidates...

Brie Larson's Captain Marvel.

A stunner? Not really.  Related to the FATWS.  A stretch.  Working with Thor?  Oh sure, definitely.

Sue Storm of the Fantastic Four.

I'd love it.  Especially, if the "Museum" is really in Latveria the home of Doctor Doom!  That would be incredibly awesome.  Nemo has mentioned the remainder of Sokovia was absorbed by it's neighbors.  That would be Latveria.  A close enough tie in.  Working with Thor.  A lady Thor I would think.  So, yes, a stunner.  Especially if she's played by Emily Blunt!

Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova.

From another upcoming Marvel movie property, The Black Widow, check.  A stunner?  Well, if you're a big Pugh fan.  Working with Thor?  Nah.  Related to FATWS?  Yes, both set in Eastern Europe.  Why?  Kicking butt with the boys?  Why not?

Emma Frost of the X-Men

They have been looking for a way to work in the X-Men into the Marvel Movie Universe.  Sooo, yeah, still a stretch.  Related to FATWS?  They bump into her attending an exhibit opening for Doctor Doom's museum?  (Or, is that just me being wishful?)  Working with Thor?  I'd love to see but I don't see it.  How about this?  If the set worker spotted Lady Gaga filming there, then mind totally blown.  It would certainly set the internet on fire.

Whew!  More than I thought.  So, dear readers, what are your thoughts?  Anyone I miss?  Chime in below with your thoughts or guesses!
